Sales Support Specialist

Telecommunications company in Wayne, NJ is immediately seeking an individual to fulfill the role of Sales Support Specialist. The Sales Support team provides a vital role to the sales process, working very closely with customers and the sales team. As a member of the Sales Support team, this individual will be in constant contact with customers, responding to product inquiries, providing quotes, order status details and reports. This position is full time, 8:30am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday, and is temp to hire.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers via phone and email to satisfy requests for order entry and delivery status, as well as to provide reports as necessary
  • Monitor orders for completeness; evaluate alternative products if necessary
  • Resolve customer complaints efficiently
  • Support and build strong partnerships and relationships with your customers, as you will be the main point of contact for a specific client base
  • Collaborate with various internal departments, purchasing, operations, logistics, etc., to ensure customer satisfaction is met to the highest level
  • Provide daily support to the sales department

Job qualifications:

  • Prior customer service experience
  • Must have advanced computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), SAP, Streamline, E-Commerce
  • Must have a versatile skill set – exceptional multi-tasking, communication, decision-making, analytical, planning, organizational, critical thinking and innovative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional and pleasant phone demeanor
  • Prior sales support experience is a plus

Salary: $15-16/hr while temporary
