Administrative/Accounting Assistant

A Water Filtration company located in Ramsey, New Jersey is seeking an experienced Office Administrative/Accounting Assistant to join their office team.

The position is Full Time; Monday through Friday 9:00AM to 5:30PM working onsite. Position is set to start immediately.

Job duties include but not limited to:

  • Review and enter sales orders from customers into company database system
  • Enter purchase order information for procurement of materials
  • Review purchase orders and create customer vouchers for payment
  • Set up shipments of product to customer
  • Handle and prepare monthly sales commissions reports
  • Prepare and distribute monthly sales tax reports
  • Office administrative duties include copying; filing, scanning and other miscellaneous duties as needed.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School degree; some college is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 (three) years of experience in an office environment
  • Experience in customer service and customer relations a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word preferred
  • Good written communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and on a team and ability to take initiative when necessary.
  • Prior experience using ERP software is a plus
