Logistics Coordinator

A software development company located in North Vale, NJ is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a temp to hire basis. The role of the logistics coordinator will be to work with the foreign logistics team in UK and liaising with the NY based distributer. This position will be a hybrid (in office/out), 20 hours a week (flexible, make your own hours) eventually leading into full time.

Location: Northvale, NJ

Hours: Flexible (starting 20 hours a week, eventually transitioning full-time)

Salary: Up to $22/HR

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving and storing light goods, picking, packing, and shipping outbound goods
  • Track and coordinate orders and shipments
  • Stock checks
  • Liaising with US customers to arrange warranty replacement products using company helpdesk
  • Communication with sales personnel and customers
  • Assist customers in ordering, follow-up, and receipt of project orders
  • General Administrative and clerical duties
  • Communicate with overseas
  • Follow up with/respond to customer inquiries
  • Light Lifting from receiving bay to 1st floor stock room
  • Updating helpdesk system

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, Office 365, and teams capability
  • Capability to work hybrid
